Families of First Responders first meeting of 2012!!

Happy New Year! I hope your all doing well. Our first gathering for January will be on the 24th, Thursday night. I thought it would be fun to dig through our closets or households and bring one thing you would like to trade. It can be anything from a candle to clothing, to other house items. It does not need to be new. I will hold this gathering at my home 19289 Gentry Highlands Ln at 630 pm. I will have light snacks and drinks. Please RSVP it helps to plan for snacks. I can't wait to ring in the new year with you all. Please let me know if you would like to be more apart of the Families of First Responders, I am always looking for more support. Our goal for the year 2013 is to slowing start to establish a non-profit organization. This will require a board with a Director/President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer and possibly another volunteer position such as helping more with Family Services. I am very excited to see what 2013 holds for us as we continue to grow. I appreciate everyone's ideas and hope you would share them with me so we can be constantly improving. Sarah Ashby has taken over the Facebook site this is a huge project in and of itself. I still need help developing the a pamphlet etc that goes over our vision, goals, who we are, and what we do etc. This could use some design talent if you know what I mean, which I am not. I hope to see you all here on the 24th. Amy Kyser Coordinator Families of First Responders 503.501.8928
